Drumshanbo Written Word Festival went wonderfully on August 21st and 22nd. On right is a photo of our Poetry Film Competition Event at The Old Methodist Church. The winner for the 5th annual award was Angela Yausheva from Serbia for - The Music that Lives in Me. The best Irish award went to Thomas O'Donoghue of Dublin for - The Art of Perception.

I present a programme of themed poetryfilms on the 2nd Monday of every month at 7.30 pm in The Long Valley Bar , Cork as part of Ó Bhéal go Béal. The next event is on Monday 14th September.
There will also be a special programme of Irish Language Poetry Films shown on Friday 18th Sept at the same venue as part of Culture Night.
